Are you ready to make a significant impact? As a Procurement Lean Practitioner, you'll work closely with the Lean Expert for Procurement to deploy Lean process improvements across our global network.
Partnering with Procurement Leaders and their teams, you'll execute performance improvement activities using lean methodologies. You'll diagnose, analyze, and enhance Procurement processes using various Lean tools and techniques. By coaching teams and demonstrating hands-on application of Lean methodologies, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and challenge the status quo. Lead deep process analysis through value stream mapping and drive kaizen to boost process performance.
Accountabilities Support the deployment of Lean process improvement across the Procurement network.Partner with Procurement Leaders and their teams to execute performance improvement activities.Diagnose, analyze, and improve Procurement processes using Lean tools and techniques.Coach Procurement teams on the application of Lean tools and methodologies.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and challenge existing processes.Lead deep process analysis through value stream mapping and kaizen initiatives.Essential Skills/Experience In-depth understanding of multi-location business challenges and how process improvement principles support and drive continuous improvements.Expertise in End to End delivery of Project Management and process improvement.Demonstrable coaching, training, and mentoring of process improvement.Track record of delivering business impact and sustained change with an understanding of change management principles.Good facilitation and workshop delivery skills.Great communication skills and experience working with Global teams.Expertise in the application of analytical problem-solving methodology.Green Belt – 6 Sigma (preferable but not essential).Desirable Skills/Experience Ability to work with teams and individually in a highly dynamic and exciting environment.At AstraZeneca, every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
