About The Role
About this opportunity Senior professional responsible for the Procurement team assigned to the data centre construction project, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with project goals and client expectations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies tailored to project requirements.Services and OFCI equipment procurement & contracting strategy development.Development of pricing mechanisms.Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure best value and quality.Optioning and cost benefit analysis.Cost forecasting.Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions.Collating Invitation to Tender packages.Development of selection and evaluation criteria.Managing tender clarifications / returns and down selection process.Oversee the entire procurement process, from tendering to contract award.Ensure contract compliance and oversee assurance process.Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project goals.As a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: Opportunities to develop and grow your career.Employee Assistance Programme.About You
Who we're looking for: Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills Sound knowledge relating to Procurement, Cost and Commercial Management - ideally both pre- and post- contract.Experience managing contracts and service procurement for construction projects - data centres or other mission critical related projects.Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills.Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work as part of a team and to manage teams.Fluency in English; Portuguese is desirable.Qualifications Engineering degree or technical education in construction-related field.About Us
