About the Role
The Procurement Administration Team Leader is responsible for leading the Procurement Administrators. Ensures that Purchase Requisitions (PR) are distributed on time and tickets/issues processed as well as Purchase Orders (PO) are created and followed up on time for the responsible geographies and locations (factories and offices) across Europe. Responsible to contribute to the procurement administration performance considering strategic targets and to develop in-depth process expertise.
What You Will Do
Manage Procurement Administrator team
Provide insights to develop the Administrators
Ensure delivery according to set KPIs
Ensure supplier request and supplier registrations are managed on time
Ensure compliance and drive efficiency
Ensure PRs are distributed on time with high data quality
Ensure POs are created and followed up with high data quality
Advise on the buying channel for free text orders
Advise requisitioners on the right way of creating PRs
Solve ticket issues received through the system
Provide insight to improvement system efficiency
Escalate supplier/system/process issues to the relevant procurement team as input for continuous improvement
Drive the team to reach KPIs
Driving automation improvement in Procurement Administration
Ensure ERP system usage (SAP R3 or S/4 HANA) in most efficient and compliant way
Who You Are
A bachelor's degree or equivalent within a relevant field or comparable professional education
At least 3+ years of experience in similar role in a business service environment with people management
Used to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing operational environment and proven ability to manage deadlines
Deliver with quality and speed, foster learning agility in self and others, trust and empower
Global Perspective
Self-driven, Communicates Effectively, Team player with the proven ability in strong collaboration
