Upon completion of the program, you will play a key role in the realization of a high-volume production line at our state-of-the-art facility in Porto.In your new role you will:Be responsible for the development of processes for new derivates in semiconductor manufacturing within part of our innovation strategy.Handover of fully characterized and well documented process to production within technology projects and continuous production support for problem solving and cost improvement activities.Specify equipment requirements, driving equipment buy-off and release in close cooperation with production.Conduct analysis and optimization of process parameters to improve quality and efficiency using tools such as SPC, FMEA, APC, 8D, Six Sigma and DoE.Participate as a technical expert in interdisciplinary and cross-site project teams for the development of new products and to address technological challenges.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A university degree in a scientific or technical field such as physics, mechanical, electrical or microsystems Engineering or related fields.Basic knowledge in process development, characterization, and optimization of electrical devices, ideally acquired through studies or relevant internships.Ideally, initial professional experience in the electric/electronic industry or in research and development.A good team spirit with the ability to work on an international level.Willingness to be internationally mobile and to work in an intercultural environment.Fluency in English (mandatory). German would be a plus.
