Upon completion of the program, you will play a key role in the realization of a high-volume production line at our state-of-the-art facility in Porto.In your new role you will:Be responsible for the development of processes for new derivates in semiconductor manufacturing within part of our innovation strategyHandover of fully characterized and well documented process to production within technology projects and continuous production support for problem solving and cost improvement activitiesSpecify equipment requirements, driving equipment buy-off and release in close cooperation with productionConduct analysis and optimization of process parameters to improve quality and efficiency using tools such as SPC, FMEA, APC, 8D, Six Sigma and DoEParticipate as a technical expert in interdisciplinary and cross-site project teams for the development of new products and to address technological challengesYou are an energetic, goal-oriented person who remains focused on quality, even when under pressure.
You have an autonomous and methodic working style and a strong critical thinking that allows you to come up with and implement corrective actions.
Moreover, you communicate clearly and efficiently, cooperating as a team player thus establishing good relationships and contributing to a great team environment.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A university degree in a scientific or technical field such as physics, mechanical, electrical or microsystems Engineering or related fieldsBasic knowledge in process development, characterization, and optimization of electrical devices, ideally acquired through studies or relevant internshipsIdeally, initial professional experience in the electric/electronic industry or in research and developmentA good team spirit with the ability to work on an international levelWillingness to be internationally mobile and to work in an intercultural environmentFluency in English (mandatory).
