Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Development, industrialization and standardization of manufacturing inspection technologies for final assembly in the plants of the Mobility Electronics division of Bosch;

Procurement for the manufacturing technology with the best cost/benefit ratio available on the market;

Development of innovative manufacturing inspection equipment with internal or external partners;

Evaluation and selection of the most viable inspection systems to monitor the quality of different manufacturing processes;

Study, selection and implementation of AI and ML tools to support data analysis;

Active participation in the analysis and resolution of non-conform processes by the means of deep statistical analysis;

Pro-active cost and quality driven inputs for the improvement of equipment and processes;

Share of lesson learns across all the relevant manufacturing plants;

Management of international competence networks and update of the respective Divisional Manufacturing Directive;

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: MSc in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Physics, or related fields);

Know-How: Expertise in optical inspection systems; Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methods; Strong background in statistics and Six Sigma methodologies; Proficiency with Excel and Minitab; Experience with laser systems (preferred but not mandatory);

Languages: Fluent in English, confident and efficient speaker;

Personality: Proactive and analytical mindset; Communicative; Passion for creating innovative and high-quality manufacturing processes;

Other: Willingness to travel.
