Job description: About the role Our Privacy team, composed of 3 full-time people + 2 cross-functional members, reports to the General Counsel function within the Ethics and Compliance team. As a Privacy Compliance Expert, you will work on the privacy accountability of the Group, on the regulatory watch impacting cyber-security and privacy compliance to support Solvay. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the level of privacy compliance and have a positive impact on the respect of rights and freedoms of the data subjects of Solvay. You will be accountable for: Manage the operational accountability of compliance through the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA). Provide Compliance advice to stakeholders (Project Manager, Processing owners…) to ensure full compliance with GDPR and local Privacy laws. Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer in case of incident management activities (Data breaches). Participate in the definition of internal and customer-facing materials (such as training, awareness campaign) in compliance with applicable Privacy law and in collaboration with the Privacy Office. Participate in evaluating the compliance of projects/initiatives through the "Privacy by design" process in collaboration with the Privacy Office. Manage the implementation of Personal Data Impact Assessment for high-risk processing (as defined by law) in collaboration with Digital Technology. Ensure the Cyber-security regulatory watch in collaboration with the Data Protection Officer and Group Security. Collaborate with Digital Technology to ensure the settings of compliant and adequate security measures in digital applications. Act as the point of contact of Infhotep (RoPA editor) for update version and communication of last features. We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode. Profile description: About you Relevant education degree or equivalent in cyber security and Compliance (knowledge of the general principles of the GDPR). Relevant work experience in Cyber-security or security compliance. Competencies: Understand the Legal requirement (Privacy laws) and the impact of the IT environment. Understand the cybersecurity law requirement (IA Act/NIS 2…). Behaviors: Able to work autonomously (due to the hybrid mode of the position). Ability to drive issues to completion with minimal supervision, interfacing with diverse internal groups, departments, business units, and cultures.
