Glartek, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing global leader in Augmented Reality (AR) solutions for the Manufacturing and Asset-intensive industries and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of shop floor procedures, related to maintenance, production, operational, safety, quality, and training. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company, working alongside other colleagues from the Sales department. This is a new strategic role within the company, reporting to the Head of Business Development, the individual will be responsible for technical solution proposals to Glartek clients and partners, including requirements analysis, solution architecture, technical bid management, presentations, product installation and setup for demonstration, and training. Last but not least, you will be empowered and accountable for a wide range of initiatives, which will give you the opportunity to own your career path and shape the future of Glartek and AR.
Tasks
Responsibility for technical elements of proposals to target customers and Glartek channel partners (system integrators, technology vendors, and mobile operators).
Work with channel partners or other Glartek experts to analyze clients' requirements and propose solutions.
Deliver demos and training to channel partners and customers in Glartek products.
Provide technical support for client technical, commercial, and bid teams and respond to technical queries.
Support channel partners in project definition and preparation of proposals and represent Glartek in presentations, client meetings and workshops.
Create solution value added / ROI business cases for partners and customers
Contribute across the business in all functional disciplines as required for Glartek to achieve its objectives.
Champion Glartek products externally as the industry standard.
Orchestrate the adoption and positioning of Glartek's products within end customers, whilst assisting, steering, and influencing channels to understand and articulate the business benefits and technical strengths of the solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels inside customers during bid process.
Identify and qualify opportunities in co-ordination with sales team and management.
Liaise with Product Management to provide feedback about customer requirements
Handover new customers and projects to the Glartek delivery team
Requirements
Good understanding of Manufacturing concepts, such as LEAN, Six Sigma and Kaizen
Understanding of how new technologies, such as Augmented Reality, AI, Computer Vision, and Big Data, can be applied to Industry 4.0 use cases
Very comfortable analyzing highly complex requirements and problems of factory operational systems.
3 years+ experience in technical consulting, development and/or systems integration, including a track record of success in selling and delivering projects and services.
Experience specifying and integrating products with ERPs, MES, PLMs or SCADAs is a plus
Training or background in software development is a plus
Excellent organizer and planner with problem-solving and communication skills. Must be effective at coordinating virtual teams and resources.
Understanding of the characteristics of startup companies and the need for flexibility of role definitions. A willingness to contribute to all areas of the business as required
Must have the maturity to be self-sufficient in client engagements.
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills - commands respect at all levels
Highly mobile with willingness to travel, as required to meet client needs and company objectives.
Must have high energy levels.
BSc/MSc in Computer-science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Fully proficient in Portuguese, English, Spanish and ideally French including technical language
Must be willing and able to travel internationally without restrictions
