We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer for onsite solar PV business.
What You Can Expect Developing sourcing and cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials and equipment used in the solar PV business;Develop pre-sales activities working closely with the Sales Department to implement necessary purchasing measures to increase results;Budgeting and developing solutions associated with the installation of decentralized solar systems;Own, manage, and execute all stages of RFQ activities including supplier identification & negotiation;Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually looking for alternatives;Work with the Head of Procurement to develop company terms and conditions for purchasing, and assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures;Manage supplier identification and onboarding process including risk management, supplier setup, and contract management;Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities;Ensure compliance with delivery times and prices stipulated in the contractual phase;Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries;Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement.Who We're Looking For Pre-sales experience in developing and budgeting technical solutions;Strong experience in procurement of small and large volumes;Commercial and financial awareness as managing budgets and keeping costs down is a key part of the role;Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);English proficiency (other languages are a plus);How You Can Make a Difference Positive, motivational, and problem-solving attitude;Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines;Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize.Committed to Inclusion At ENGIE, we value and promote diversity and inclusion.
