We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer for onsite solar PV business.
What You Can Expect
Developing sourcing and cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials and equipment used in the solar PV business;
Develop pre-sales activities working closely with the Sales Department to implement the necessary purchasing measures to increase results;
Budgeting and developing solutions associated with the installation of decentralized solar systems;
Own, manage, and execute all stages of RFQ activities including supplier identification & negotiation;
Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;
Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually looking for alternatives;
Work with the Head of Procurement to develop the company terms and conditions for purchasing and assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures;
Manage supplier identification and onboarding process including risk management, supplier setup, and contract management;
Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities;
Ensure compliance with delivery times and prices stipulated in the contractual phase;
Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries;
Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement.
Who We're Looking For
Pre-sales experience in developing and budgeting technical solutions;
Strong experience in procurement of small and large volumes;
Commercial and financial awareness as managing budgets and keeping costs down is a key part of the role;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
English proficiency (other languages are a plus);
