About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading the development and implementation of analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and mentoring analytics development teams and possess deep expertise in Power BI and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Analytics Development Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirementsEnsure data accuracy, performance, and usability in all analytics solutionsCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specificationsTechnical Expertise Utilise advanced Power BI features, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query and dataflowsIntegrate Power BI with various data sources, such as SQL databases, cloud services and APIsImplement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive informationStakeholder Collaboration Work closely with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored analytics solutionsCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectivelyProvide training and support to end-users to maximise the value of analytics toolsAbout YouYou'll bring extensive analytics engineer experience gained through a combination of industry and consulting roles. You will be comfortable developing and strengthening peer-to-peer level relationships at all levels with our clients.
Ideally, you will have as much of the following experience as possible:
