What iMM seeks : At this moment, iMM is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Immune Regulation Laboratory coordinated by Marc Veldhoen to execute the following activities under the supervision of Marc Veldhoen: Biochemical assays Western blots Subcellular fractionations Metabolic and mitochondrial assays Cell culture Microscopy (LM/EM) Metabolic assays Flow cytometry Profile of Candidate PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell biology or related life-sciences discipline; Experience in Biochemistry; Experience in Cell culture; Experience in enzymatic, mitochondrial and metabolic assays; Proficient in English, spoken and written; Good managing skills, and efficiency; A proven track record in research design and execution; Forward thinking, independent, can-do, pro-active attitude; Experience in immunology, flow cytometry and use of animal models will be valued; International experience will be valued. What iMM offers: iMM will offer outstanding working conditions in this area in Portugal, including a full-time contract, starting predictably in September or October 2024, and the possibility to work in the interface of research. Working Conditions: Unfixed-Term employment contract with an estimated duration of 12 (twelve) months; Annual gross salary of 32.000€, approximately (includes base salary and meal allowance), in accordance with the funding budget and iMM Career By-Law, as well as Holidays and Christmas allowances subject to the current mandatory taxes accordingly to Portuguese Labor Law.
