GIMM - Job Opportunity - Postdoctoral Researcher OPENING OF INTERNATIONAL TENDER PROCEDURE FOR HIRING A POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROJECT "UoC-Cooperation Agreement Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1310 programme of the University of Cologne", DESIGNATED BY "Evolutionary diversification of E. Coli in the mouse gut". 1. The position of postdoctoral researcher is available at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC) facilities in Oeiras, Portugal, under an undefined employment contract for a maximum duration of 4 years. The candidate will work in the Evolutionary Biology Laboratory directed by Dr. Isabel Gordo. 2. Scientific Area: Microbiology – Evolutionary Biology. 3. The candidate must hold a doctoral degree in biology or a related field and have a scientific and professional curriculum that evidences an adequate profile for the activity to be carried out. 4. General tender admission requirements: Candidates should have a PhD in Life Sciences with experience in microbiology and/or gut microbiota. The applicant should be able to engage with several aspects of a multi-disciplinary project and collaborate closely with other team members. 5. Evaluation criteria: Applications will be evaluated according to the Curriculum vitae (35%) and the motivation letter (30%). If deemed necessary, interviews will represent 35% of the final classification. 6.
