Postdoctoral Fellow at Stem Cell: Champalimaud Foundation invites applications for a Postdoctoral Position at the Stem Cell and Regeneration Lab (Rhiner group). PhD in Life Sciences or related disciplines
Experience with Drosophila genetics and confocal imaging (valued)
Background in developmental biology, stem cells, regeneration, or neuroscience (a plus)
Experience in single-cell RNA-sequencing projects
Strong data visualization and communication skills
Proficiency in English
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Fellow at Stem Cell and Regeneration Lab (Rhiner group)
Investigate how brain injury alters communication in the injured fly brain
Collaborate with a senior research technician on functional assays
Collaborate with a partner lab in Spain to test conserved principles in the injured mouse brain
Work within the scope of the "BrainImpact" research project
