Offer Description The emergence of new problem drinking practices among young people calls for new prevention dynamics and procedures . To this end, the Addictions program team at the Laboratory of psychology Caen Normandie ( https://lpcn.unicaen.fr/recherche/programmes-de-recherche/ ) has developed the Alcohol and Drugs at the University of Normandy (ADUC) project, which combines 3 complementary approaches:
Determinants: Identification of the prevalence of binge drinking (BD) among students and its determinants, whether intra-individual, interpersonal or intergroup variables.
Alterations: Evaluation over time of the neuropsychological alterations associated with BD and cannabis use.
Prevention: Development of innovative BD prevention programs, pre-selected on the basis of the previously identified determinants.
For this position, we are particularly interested in the psycho-social parameters involved (such as identity, norms and motivations) as part of our understanding of the psychological processes involved in substance use and its prevention. Thus, the tasks of the person recruited may focus as much on identifying the determinants associated with substance use as on prevention issues.
Main missions of the post-doctoral position Participate in the processing and valorization of data (qualitative and quantitative) from Volet 1 and Volet 3, particularly concerning the psycho-social variables involved.
Participate in the implementation of psychological research projects in the field of addiction.
NB: Skills in the analysis of textual data (Iramuteq or Alceste type) or in specific inferential analyses (network analysis type) could be an additional asset for the position.
