PLC-Software Expert (Sorter & Material Handling) Your role in our team: You will be responsible for our PLC-Software Development, testing and integration of our PLC Sorter Library, consulting of the PLC Engineering team during the design and commissioning phase and the Know How transfer between development and engineering department.
This Includes:
Development, standardization and ongoing improvement of our Software library, by using agile processes
Responsibility for the Software commissioning and testing during the Software development phase at either PLC internal simulation, at customer test center or at site
Consulting of the project manager during Design Phase, Software Engineering, Commissioning and Integration
Responsible to develop customer specific solutions in line with the library
Support and optimize the interface between Software parametrization process and Software generation tool chain
Support in the conversation of existing customer from S7 Classic to S7 TIA
Emulation of the implemented software using 'Digital Twin' solutions
In case of new Software developments it is possible that site visits become mandatory
Closed co-operation with the Commissioning team during the integration phase of our sorting system is a normal working procedure
Your profile:
Bachelor of electrotechnics or automation technology (or similar)
Experience technical team lead Software Engineering and/or commissioning/integration
Expert Knowledge of TIA-Portal, SW Engineering and Software architecture
Advanced Knowledge of profinet, asi-bus, profibus, CAN Bus, Ethernet TCP-IP
Advanced Knowledge of drive technology (Siemens / SEW)
Advanced Knowledge Siemens Fail Safe programming
Knowledge in HMI technology using WinCC
Knowledge in OPCUA communication between TIA PLC and plant SCADA system
Good understanding of IT-Infrastructure, high level Controls and Networks
Knowledge in emulation Software required. Our preferred emulation tool is Demo 3D
At least 3 years' experience in commissioning of complex automated plants (automated logistic sorting centers)
Allen-Bradley knowledge is an advantage
We are running an international team for our Software development, good skills in English language (spoken and written) are mandatory
Ability to work in a team with strong communication skills, also stress resilience, strong commitment to reach the business goals
