Responsibilities: You perform PLC planning and programming as well as HMI configuration in automotive project scenarios. You perform plausibility checks of functional descriptions as well as resulting procedures. You perform technical project support during the various phases of the project lifecycle. You perform virtual and onsite commissioning. You perform as technical supervisor for project partners. You perform PLC software maintenance and development tasks. You perform training tasks for your colleagues as well as our customers. Requirements: Availability to travel onsite to client a minimum of straight 20 to 30 days per travel, to a maximum of 180 days per year. Guaranteed a minimum of 100 to 120 days travelled per year. All travel is within Europe and booked internally by thyssenkrupp. You have successfully completed an electrical base education with technical degree, a university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable education. You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of PLC programming, preferably from the automotive industry or an automotive related manufacturing company. You have advanced knowledge in Siemens TIA Portal and related automation environment. You have knowledge in safety programming, preferably combined with robot interaction. You have very good analytical skills. You are highly solution-oriented and have the ability to assert yourself and achieve results. You have an open mindset and are characterized by agility and motivation. You have an advanced level in spoken and written English, preferably complemented with base or advanced German skills.
