PLATFORM ENGINEER – DEVOPS SPECIALIST (REMOTE / HÍBRIDO) Portuguese company hires for remote/hybrid work.CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN LISBON/PORTUGAL FLUENT PORTUGUESE.SEND CV IN ENGLISH.Description We are looking for a DevOps Senior profile for a critical application maintenance and development. Definition: Develop patterns and underlying cloud platforms on client applications.Tasks Regular coordination with stakeholders such as architects or security specialists to further develop application architectures based on existing standards and guidelines. Creation of training materials and showcase applications for know-how building in the teams and for demonstration purposes. Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to teams to ensure stable and secure application operations. Regularly coordinate with application teams and conduct training and onboarding as part of enablement. Work closely with and support the application teams and gather feedback to further develop patterns and underlying cloud platforms. Must Have Knowledge Completed (information) technical or business studies or comparable knowledge. Proven experience in application development on common cloud platforms and tools as well as modern methodologies and principles such as CI/CD and DevSecOps. Several years of practical experience in the operational operation and further development of applications on the cloud. Good knowledge of deployment, logging, and monitoring of applications. Helpful are good programming skills with Java and JavaScript frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when consulting with teams. Great willingness to help, empathy, and fun in supporting other teams. Very good knowledge of English, other language skills an advantage. Good To Have Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure. Hands-on experience with products such as Kubernetes AKS/EKS, Apigee, Apache web server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Kafka. Practical experience with tools such as Jenkins, Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana. Practical experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban). Availability: Immediate OR in 2-3 Weeks. Seniority: Senior (6-8 years of experience). Languages & Soft Skills: Fluent in English (minimum B2: Speaking, Writing, and Listening). Soft Skills Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Team spirit and flexibility to work together with consultants in a different timeline.
