Title: Plant ManagerCompany Type: Leading vertically integrated Licensed ProducerType: Full-time, on-siteLocation: Coimbra, PortugalThe RoleReporting to the Managing Director EU, the Plant Manager is responsible for achieving the operations objectives and ensuring all quality standards are met. This role will include administering, planning, managing, directing, and controlling the activities and quality of service of the operations team. On top, this role needs to manage with agility and flexibility the site innovation plan with continuous improvement initiatives that drives to the better products to market. The PM will have responsibility for the leadership and overall administration of our clients cannabis production and manufacturing operations located in Portugal. As a leader, the PM will provide direction to the management team to achieve optimal performance and growth while improving the cost of goods sold and ensuring the quality of goods produced in the facility. This role will support and assure efficient workflows with external stakeholder, that are part of a matrixial organisation with different roles and responsibilities.Responsabilidade / Role and ResponsabilitiesManage and oversee the entire operationsManage teams to reach and exceed revenue goalsManage a permanent and dynamic Innovation plan to assure connection to market needs.Manage a continuous improvement plan to GACP and to GMP area, that drives to product leadership.Assure and manage efficient communication and workflows between the site and all corporate and central functionsDiligent awareness about performance related to monthly, quarterly and annual goals, and conduct sales forecast on a regular basisHold team members accountable for revenue goal achievements, KPIs, and engagement in all sales initiativesCoach, develop and support all team members while leading by exampleResponsible for driving the processing facility to achieve and surpass production targets for all product lines, cost targets, cash flow and business goals and objectivesAccountable for ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. Utilising KPI's to formulate end-to-end processes which are efficient and ensure orders are processed and delivered on timeMotivate and lead a high-performance leadership team. This includes the ability to attract, recruit, retain, and develop highly talented and motivated individuals to help support business growthOversee budget preparation and Inventory management for all production activities conducted at the facility;Accountable for ensuring all Corporate Quality Standards are metMonitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessarySpearhead the development and implementation of effective production strategies and processesManage the morale in the facility by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customersDevelop and sustain an effective and efficient knowledge transfer capability within the facility in order to support broader Corporate objectivesEnsure the facility complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practicesQualificações e Requisitos / Qualifications and Education RequirementsMinimum of 10 years' experience in leadership functions, 5 of them in CPG industry will be a plusDegree in Engineering, Industrial management or similarProven experience as a transformational leader with the ability to build, develop, and drive a strong and high motivated teamKnowledge Quality programs: GACP/ ISO/ GMP( Good Manufacturing Practices) / GDP (Good Documentation Practices)Strong problem identification and problem resolution skillsExcellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with vendors, and internal departments
