EDP Renewables, a long-term market leader in the renewable energy sector, is looking to recruit a Planning & Control (FP&A) Analyst for the FP&A North America BP department.

What you will do:
Produce monthly construction and development Totex reports and explain variances vs. the previous month vs. the approved budget, interacting with the development and construction teams as needed;
Monitor and control SG&A expenses, producing monthly reports and liaising with teams to ensure correct allocation;
Perform in-depth analysis of actual financial performance to provide feedback to Management, establish value drivers, and explain discrepancies from target performance;
Assure the quality of data, both operational and financial, in the Company's reporting tool;
Participate in developing and implementing process improvements related to financial reporting;
Support the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes;
Prepare presentations to the Executive Team and Senior Management;
Additional duties as assigned.

What are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field;
Up to 4 years' experience in Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis;
Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must;
Experience in cost control preferred;
Experience in SAP and/or Power BI is a plus;
Excellent analytical and data-handling skills;
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
Ability to be self-motivated;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
Ability to work well both independently and as part of an interdependent team.
