Pharmacovigilance TraineeJob Purpose Our internship lasts 12 months with the aim of providing the candidate with their first contact with the business "world", equipping them with practical knowledge related to the areas of pharmacovigilance and medical governance, which focuses on evaluating the safety and risk/benefit assessment of medicines to help safeguard those who take our medicines; conducting and disseminating clinical research; and interactions on science and medicine with external communities. Always ensuring compliance with our policies, standards and systems and applicable legislation and with a "can do" mindset.
Key responsibilities Supports Pharmacovigilance activities, such as:
Daily management of pharmacovigilance local system.Management monitoring and CAPAs.Training and education of GSK staff/service providers on HSI reporting.Other tasks assigned by the Pharmacovigilance Lead.Supports Medical Governance activities, such as:
Collaboration in the implementation of Medical Governance activities, where attention to detail and the ability to work to meet deadlines and objectives is fundamental, together with the ability to deal with complex situations and different stakeholders.Collaboration in the implementation of Standards, training, and ensuring compliance with requirements in the different activities of the medical affairs area.Collaboration of the implementation of management monitoring plans, assisting team in problem-solving, and implementation of CAPAS.Collaboration in assessing and drawing up medical risk plans.Requirements Degree in health sciences (preferable master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences).Portuguese native speaker; fluency in written and spoken English.Computer skills in MS (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Strong ability to organize time, manage priorities and have a spirit of continuous improvement.Easy to get along with and integrate, team spirit, with a proactive and ethical attitude and behavior.Nice to have: Excellent communication skills.Experience and understanding of pharmaceuticals market.Job posting end date: 06/12/2024
