People Operations Coordinator - Lisbon

As part of the People Experience & Operations team, you'll be the go-to person between different HR areas, helping answer employee questions and connecting them with the right people when needed.

What'll be your mission?Provide on-site support at our Lisbon office;Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues through our global employee platform (ServiceNow);Manage EMEA-wide tasks, such as employment verification letters, medical checks, and ensuring compliance with local legislation;Run regular audits, ensure data integrity, and create reports;Coordinate with employees, managers, HR teams, and external stakeholders to handle employment-related processes;Assist with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks within the People Operations Team;Identify and improve operational weaknesses within the region, and support or manage projects aimed at enhancing employee lifecycle processes to keep up with Uber's growth. What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field;2-3 years of experience in a People/HR Operations role within a high-growth tech company or large organization;Basic understanding of EMEA employment laws and their impact on HR matters;Experience with Workday (HRIS) and/or ticketing systems, as well as Excel or Google Sheets;Strong customer service and administrative skills;Basic project management and stakeholder management skills;Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese, with additional language skills (e.g., French) being a plus.
