As a Pensions Analyst, you will be part of a vibrant team supporting the Consulting Office in the UK.
Our team is responsible for maintaining, improving, and enhancing the high quality of Aptia systems and databases, in order to provide the most accurate information to the client, so they can make better decisions regarding their benefits.
You will work closely and on a daily basis with the UK-based consultants in several UK offices.
This is an opportunity to further develop your analytical experience and skillset as well as your knowledge of the UK Pensions Administration landscape.

This role is a hybrid position where you will work from our office in Lisbon, as well as from your home address.
What you will be doing: A variety of administration activities connected to the running of a pension scheme, including leavers, data changes, setting up benefits into payment, general policyholder enquiries and annual scheme updates Undertake all aspects of the data cleanse process including data analysis, data cleanse, data reconciliation and issue resolution as well as the co-ordination of member data exercises Gain a thorough understanding of the scheme details administered in the team and ensure activities are processed in line with the scheme rules.
Performing complex pensions calculations, enter pensions data and answer enquiries to the required standard using both automated and non-automated manual/system processes across a wide range of member or scheme events Peer review complex tasks and work in process improvements Work within specified timescales and produce quality work within this Work as part of a team, collaborating to continuously improve processes and service to clients What we are looking for: Prior experience working in a data analytics or actuarial role, ideally in a financial services environment Strong numeracy skills, comfortable working in a numbers based role Excellent written and spoken English communication skills Good IT skills, comfortable working with systems and programmes such as MS Office (specially excel) Organised with strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work and collaborate as part of a team including excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Able to understand and follow set processes Able to analyse and improve processes Flexibility in adapting to different environments and types of work UK pension knowledge (preferential but not mandatory) Actuarial Science knowledge (preferential) VBA skills (preferential) What can you expect : A group committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which embraces and respects differences, because it recognizes that only a diverse and inclusive environment creates the conditions to be prepared for a constantly changing world.
