About this position
The PC&L Customer Specialist reports to the PC&L Customer BPE and has responsibility for a specific Region and/or Customer Group:
Drives the CUSTOMER business process (re)design and process improvements within Production Control and Logistics (PC&L) management, along with ensuring systems robustly support these;
Ensure that all our sites are executing the business processes inside the given framework, identify best practices to model future improved processes by keeping the system standards in place;
Supports the development and maintenance of a strong community of Key Users in the Plant, Regional and Global PC&L Organizations.
This Role also focuses on keeping up to date with industry standards and innovations through benchmark and best practices.
Your Role
Drives the design and effectiveness of the PC&L CUSTOMER processes, at Plant, Regional and Global level;
Responsible for resolving process issues raised by the teams and provide root cause analysis;
Monitor and audit proper execution of the defined standard processes and escalate if any deviation;
Identify areas for process improvement related to CUSTOMER business processes inside PC&L scope;
Development and roll out of new or changed business processes, create training material, provide Key User and End User training and lead routinely meetings with the plant Key User community;
Contribute to the PC&L Global Process Framework roadmap, while constantly seeking simplification and standardization of the landscape.
Be the PC&L CUSTOMER ERP system (SAP) expert, keeping up to date with developments in the SAP space and continually upgrading the functional knowledge;
In case of global or regional special projects, be a main participant in the project team;
Support the execution of the main transformation projects, in line with leadership prioritization, functional and business responsibility/scope;
Drive, together with the PC&L CUSTOMER BPE, the PC&L CUSTOMER Key User community;
Ensure a perfect Customer Order Management according to defined business process, across all Plants;
Be a central point of contact for the ASUX Plants for Customer Process and System related topics;
Be a key person for the main processes and organization of the Customers;
Support on the ASUX Plant training needs for Customer facing roles, to reach the defined Standard;
Collaborate and support the activities needed to achieve key performance indicators (for instance, OTTR, VOC);
Drive on-time and clean customer master data maintenance in SAP, under PC&L COPs responsibility;
Support the current Organizational Transformation as required.
Your Background
Bachelor of Science in International Relations, Logistics, Business Management, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant area;
Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes (with preference for CUSTOMER related ones);
3+ years of significant Experience in a Business Process Role related to Customer and/or Order to Cash area;
Advanced knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module and of SAP CUSTOMER processes, and relevant experience as a professional SAP user in a challenging environment;
Good knowledge of the English language;
Analytical mindset, strongly process driven and used to view the performance through "process and people" angle;
Good working knowledge of MS office and integration with other systems;
Experience in a challenging automotive environment;
Skills and/or Experience as a leader & people manager in a global team environment.
Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)
Basic understanding of Lean principles and tools;
Basic knowledge on Six Sigma principles and tools;
