Job Description Assist the global payroll team in collecting, verifying, and processing payroll data and provide support in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with central payroll provider and the internal team to address any discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing.
Issue Resolution: Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and HR teams, escalating issues to the global payroll team as needed.
Help troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution in line with company policies and local regulations.
Support the global payroll team in conducting payroll audits and compliance checks.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, payroll changes, and audit documentation.
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related documentation, such as tax filings, benefits administration, and end-of-year processes.
Support the onboarding process for new employees by ensuring payroll setup is accurate and complete.
Compliance and Documentation: Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, escalating potential compliance issues to the global payroll team.
Assist in the creation and updating of payroll process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Help gather and prepare documentation required for internal and external audits.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in payroll processes and systems, providing recommendations to the global payroll team.
Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing, providing feedback and support during the implementation phase.
Qualifications COME AS YOU ARE: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in payroll support or administration, preferably in a global or multi-country environment.
Basic knowledge of international payroll practices, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
