LISBON Our Lisbon office is located in Portugal's cosmopolitan capital. In this office, Farfetchers like to have catch ups in the ball pit or creative moments by the grand piano! THE ROLE As a Payments Specialist, you will be part of the Consumer Payments team, which ensures our customers enjoy seamless, efficient, and secure payment experiences. Reporting to the Payments Operations Lead, you will assist in supporting the day-to-day operations of the payments process, contributing to Farfetch's success by providing operational and analytical support to improve our payments ecosystem.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and key payment providers while developing your understanding of the payment industry and supporting the operational needs of a global luxury e-commerce platform.
\n WHAT YOU'LL DOMonitor payment processes to ensure smooth operations and resolve operational issues, the defined SLAs.Assist in tracking key payment performance metrics, such as acceptance rates and transaction success rates.Support reconciliation and reporting tasks to maintain data accuracy and identify discrepancies.Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Customer Service, Finance, Product) to address payment-related concerns and enhance workflows.Help ensure compliance with payment regulations by supporting documentation and audits.Contribute to the optimization of existing payment methods and implementation of new payment solutions.Build relationships with payment providers to improve service levels and address escalated issues. WHO YOU ARE2–4 years of experience in operations, data analysis, or an e-commerce-related role.Someone with solid analytical skills, with experience in utilizing data-driven insights to drive decision-makingBasic understanding of payment processes and eagerness to learn more about the payment ecosystem.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data to generate insights.A team player who enjoys collaborating across different teams and functions.Clear and effective communicator who can simplify complex topics.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Excited to grow in the fast-paced world of payments and e-commerce.
