Purpose of PositionPlan, request, track and control aircraft spares required prior to scheduled inspections and assist with unscheduled aircraft maintenance events. Liaise with the Maintenance Control Centre & Line Support teams and aircraft manufacturers to ensure that all aircraft within maintenance have the necessary spares available to complete rectification work within set deadlines in order to maximize aircraft availability.
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAssist the aircraft maintenance fleet teams ensuring that spare requirements are met to return the aircraft to service in a timely manner;Plan and control the delivery of aircraft spares, liaising with the Scheduling and Planning team to ensure NTA owned items are in location prior to aircraft arrival and the commencement of the scheduled maintenance input;Track and follow-up NTA owned core returns of items returning from service centre locations;Perform periodic inventory checks on NTA owned stock at key locations in accordance with the procedure guidelines;Maintain and manage NTA owned stock orders, returns and transfers ensuring these are captured on the supply chain tool;Assist the aircraft maintenance fleet teams with issues concerning release documentation on unusual parts;Monitor NTA owned aircraft spare vendors transport arrangements and customs brokerage issues in order to ensure that parts are released to the approved maintenance organisations in a timely manner;Liaise with the Maintenance Fleet Managers in order to maintain an inventory with adequate stock levels at key strategic locations, maximizing aircraft availability;Address to the Line Support Manager with issues related to spare part support to the maintenance fleets;Provide support to the external warehouse team and the maintenance fleets for shipments of spare parts from third party vendors.EducationNot Specified
