The firm has an ambitious expansion plan for the next five years and we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the team who can contribute to the firm's growth.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Italian-speaking Paralegal to join our London-based team, on a full-time and permanent basis. The role is office-based and the successful candidate would be expected to work from the office on a full-time basis.
You will be joining a team whose reputation for good quality advice and representation has been recognised internationally. As a paralegal, you will assist fee earners with the profitable management of their caseload whilst practising the highest codes of professional conduct and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates work will include (but not be limited to):
Legal research
Litigation support
Drafting, reviewing and amending materials, correspondence and documents
Proofreading
Electronic and hard copy document management
Various administrative duties as and when required
Preparation of hearing bundles
Document preparation and research requests
Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content
Developing cases by maintaining contact with all involved parties
Writing letters before action (LBAs)
Reviewing settlement offers
Typing up and filing legal documents and correspondence
Reviewing and reporting on claims
Drafting and producing legal documentation
Maintaining communication with clients and informing them of updates and case progress
Utilising Claims Management Systems to progress cases to completion
Providing a high level of client service, including responding to ad hoc information
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have:
It would be advantageous to have had some experience of casework and Court proceedings. With a First-Class law degree (or equivalent) you will have
Completed the LPC or BPTC
Demonstrated experience working as a paralegal either in-house or private practice
Excellent academic qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Commercial and technology awareness
Excellent spoken and written Italian language skills
The right candidate will be considered to apply for a training contract in 2023.
