No Offer Description Consultative functions of study, planning, programming, evaluation, and application of methods and processes of a technical and/or scientific nature, which underpin and preparedecision-making. Preparation, independently or in a group, of reports and projects with varying degrees of complexity, and execution of other general or specialized support activities in common, instrumental, and operational areas of service. Representation of the organization or service in matters of its specialty, making technical decisions framed by directives or superior guidelines. Experimental development in the MIA-Portugal laboratories, particularly in the area of molecular biology (cloning, mini/midi-preps, etc.); cell culture (human, heterologous, and primary); preparation of recombinant proteins; preparation of common-use media and solutions; management of rodent colonies in interaction with the vivarium; laboratory maintenance,orders, and stocks, welcoming new members; participation in ongoing scientific projects in the laboratory; preparation of scientific reports, presentation of results at internal meetings, discussion of new scientific projects, andparticipation in science communication and dissemination activities.The functions should be performed withresponsibility and technical autonomy, albeit within a qualified superior framework. Candidates must have proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Bachelor's degree in the areas of Biology and/or Life Sciences (CNAEF Codes 420and 421).
