THE ROLE As Indie Campers' Own Rental Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our vehicle rental operations. Your role will involve managing the rental fleet, driving rental revenue, and maximizing rental gross margin. Your strategic insights and operational leadership will be critical in enhancing the rental experience for our customers and achieving our business goals. You will be joining our Revenue team in our Lisbon HQ, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and working closely with the Fleet Management, Sales, and Marketing teams. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? Oversee the management and optimization of the vehicle rental fleet. Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of days rented. Drive rental revenue growth through effective pricing, promotions, and customer acquisition strategies. Maximize rental gross margin by optimizing operational efficiencies and controlling costs. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute rental marketing campaigns. Monitor rental performance metrics and provide regular reports to the CRO. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service and fleet quality. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for rental operations. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation in rental operations. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Strong understanding of rental operations and revenue management strategies. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in rental management software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations. You are motivated by taking ownership of your tasks and driving continuous improvement. Fluency in English is mandatory.
