Logic is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Service Manager, who will be responsible for the service management and maintenance of Oracle ERP SaaS capabilities, including Oracle Retail Cloud Services and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications, plus associated add-on applications, integration and ERP reporting, for a European retailer. The candidate needs to ensure that services run smoothly and effectively for the applications and will work to optimize these services over time.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for maintenance activities, oversee the resolution of all production incidents and underlying problems relating to these services and applications, working closely with the retailer Duty Manager on top priority incidents. The candidate will also handle the service monitoring capabilities, and responses to all issues identified through monitoring. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the retailer's selected 3rd Party Support Partner, plus other 3rd party companies.
In addition to the day-to-day service management responsibilities, this role will be responsible for establishing and embedding leading practices in Oracle ERP Service Management in the retailer. In the early stages of the role, they will assist with the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP applications, participating in Operations Acceptance Testing (OAT) and other activities to ensure readiness to go-live. Post initial implementation, this role will be a key source of inputs for future Oracle ERP process and solution landscape enhancements.
The position requires extensive experience managing ERP systems, and specific experience of Oracle Retail Cloud Services and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
Coordination and oversight of maintenance, monitoring/response, first to fourth-line incident management and problem management processes for Oracle ERP solution landscape.
Day-to-day management of all 3rd Party Support partners, report on their service provided and conduct frequent, periodic performance reviews.
Diagnostic tests and resolution of issues identified.
Provision of input to future Oracle ERP process and solution landscape enhancements.
Assessment of readiness for new Oracle releases and other developments to the Oracle ERP solution landscape to be put live and taken into service.
Resolution of all first to fourth-line incidents, and underlying root-cause 'problems', within agreed SLAs.
Strong working relationships with all key business and IT stakeholders.
Frequent status updates to Head of IT Services.
Documentation / updates of Oracle ERP Service Management processes and ways of working.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of experience as an IT and retail.
6+ years of experience as a service manager.
Experience of Oracle Retail Cloud Services and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
Motivated and process oriented critical thinker that is adept at negotiation, business process, and can provide an enterprise architecture vision.
Adept at handling conflict and making non-biased decisions.
Strong knowledge of continuous delivery, along with understanding of Cloud architecture required.
Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated expertise in consulting.
Experience as an integration architect on retail ERP implementations.
Must work during Eastern Europe working hours.
Remote work but may need to travel adhoc - open for travel within EMEA.
Permanent role or sub-contractor depending on the profile and notice period.
Strong written and verbal English skills required.
