We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle DBA Migration Specialist . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database administration and a strong background in database migration projects. The Oracle DBA Migration Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the migration of Oracle databases from legacy systems to new environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity throughout the process.The migration is from Oracle 11,2 to Oracle 19c via data pump. Main requirements • Database Migration Planning: Collaborate with customer to understand requirements, analyze existing database environments, and develop comprehensive migration strategies.
• Migration Execution: Perform data migration tasks, including schema conversion, data transformation, and data loading. Ensure seamless migration with minimal disruption to operations.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance before, during, and after the migration. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data during migration. Conduct post-migration validation to ensure data integrity.
• Database Upgrades: Plan and execute database upgrades as part of the migration process, ensuring compatibility and stability of applications.
