Be a partner for and support the operations department, from a process ownership perspective, to produce the products our users need in quality, time, and cost.
Here you will play a key role in the definition and transfer of the key processes and systems for the Portuguese plant and work in close collaboration with our headquarters and plants abroad. You will also have a key role in the ramp-up and transfer of the plant, including training of new workers in all the relevant processes and systems. Furthermore, you will be the local representative of the global operations processes.

Responsibilities: Be deputy of the head of operations in tasks that concern the operations department organization, setup, and ramp-up.
Learn and document all the relevant operations processes and systems.
Be a Local Process Owner for Corporate Processes.
Train newcomers on the relevant systems for production and support areas (Oracle E1, MES, PTS – production tracking system).
Train, instruct, and guide the organization on the operation processes.
Have an active role in operations processes improvement.
Be part of the global standardization project team as the local representative for the operations department.
Ensure the deployment and application of the defined standards in the local operations department.
Minimum Requirements: A relevant academic background (B.Sc. or higher).
Minimum 5 years of production experience in a leadership role.
Knowledge of production/operations organization and relevant KPIs.
Solid understanding of process management in a multinational company.
Project knowledge and experience (Project Management experience is a plus).
Knowledge of ERP "way of work" (Oracle E1 is a plus).
Experience in working in MES software production environment.
Holistic understanding of End-To-End production.
Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus).
