.Operations ManagerRequisition ID: 2727Location: Cantanhede, PTWork regime: Full-TimeKind of contract: Open Ended ContractAs an Operations Manager, you will oversee the internal production of IBA products and equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal guidelines; you will drive the Manufacturing team to meet manufacturing Department Objectives, coordinating resources and external R&D support to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery, ensuring safety for our employees and customers; you will maintain safety, lean processes (5S), and the professional appearance of the manufacturing location.Challenges we trust you withOperational Leadership:Contribute to strategy and operational plans.Drive the definition and execution of operational plans.Make impactful decisions affecting medium-term goals.Be accountable for achieving operational plans and goals.Production Planning and Management:Manage short-term (2 weeks) production planning: quality, processing times, delivery times, priorities, and capacity.Define and allocate resources to meet short-term manufacturing plans.Ensure production of expected quantities of IBA products/equipment, complying with quality standards (IBA and international), costs, processing and lead times targets, and safety procedures.Serve as the Manufacturing single point of contact for related products/projects.Continuously improve KPIs related to products (cost, quality, processing, and delivery times).Team Leadership and Development:Lead, develop, and coach team members.Ensure team members are certified and up-to-date with technical knowledge.Develop team members' performance in line with their potential and competence framework.Quality Management:Ensure products are manufactured, tested, stored, and packed according to appropriate documentation (IBA requirements and international standards) to achieve required quality and traceability.Approve and implement production instructions.Ensure team members are trained and certified for their tasks.Evaluate and sign production records by authorized personnel.Report quality issues through the Abnormality Report process.What we valueLeadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team.Production Planning: Strong skills in managing production planning and resource allocation.Quality Management: Deep understanding of quality standards and processes.Technical Knowledge: Solid background in medical devices manufacturing.Continuous Improvement: Commitment to improving manufacturing processes and KPIs.Life at IBADiversity is fundamental to our culture.
