As part of the Operational Procurement team in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Service, you will be located in Portugal. Here you will be in daily contact with a wide range of suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be part of a high performing team, who is dedicated to get the best possible performance out of our suppliers by continuous dialogue and follow up.
How to contribute to our vision
As an Operational Purchaser you will be responsible for your own scope of materials/suppliers. Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for the entire Purchase Order flow by processing purchase requests; checking the content for accuracy and complete/update accordingly, ensuring cost-efficient and on time supply of materials according to demand.
Close contact to suppliers within your scope and thereby maintain a good supplier relationship
Follow up on Supplier Performance
Interface to internal customers and other stakeholders, contributing to cooperation actively by passing on all relevant data to improve the flow of materials, information and value through the supply chain.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
Proactive, ambitious team player, who is ready to go above and beyond to provide the best possible service, always having the customer in mind.
Knowledge of SAP.
Previous experience of 3 years in similar functions. Experience in the Renewable Energy sector will be highly valued.
Fundamental knowledge in supply chain / logistics.
Excellent communication skills within all levels of the organization.
Effective, persistent, and solution-oriented problem solving.
High level of spoken and written English language.
