Position Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to define, design, and implement continuous improvement programs and site projects which are aligned with business strategies.
The Operational Excellence Manager will also establish and guide the Element Owners in ongoing sustenance & maturity of IMEx including metric maintenance to measure program success. Installs program governance, project reviews, and communication.
Primary Duties:
Support site transformation to world-class performer by:
Collaboration with SLT in the development of strategy & goals (including Above-site programs e.g., EMAP), translate them into CI programs and cascade to lower tiers.
Leading & driving site transformation & cultural change including role-modeling accountability, transparency, speak up, focus/prioritization, vertical & horizontal alignment, supportive leadership, coaching, and change agility. Be the site key Change Agent.
Leading & guiding Operational Excellence sustainment & maturity, including governance, DOC execution, IMEx standards adherence, metrics, IMEx document management system, and colleague growth & development in IMEx roles and knowledge sharing within site & with other sites (CoP, KSF).
Developing & executing site capability build plan including governance process, ongoing capability mapping against framework, gap assessments/closures, sustainment & effectiveness checks particularly in Lean, Six Sigma, and Coaching Skills.
Oversight, lead, guide, train & coach site colleagues to execute & deliver right quality & on-time key EMAP & CI initiatives including Lean & Six Sigma projects.
Being a key partner with Site MS Lead in iFlow deployment (D4F, MSE, IA, DS), flow improvement & sustainable MCT reduction.
Qualifications
Experience:
• Min of 5+ years experiences in a similar position or area of responsibility.
• Proven leadership, influencing & stakeholder management skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to see & articulate the big picture as well as attention to detail in reviewing & executing detailed tasks in a hands-on manner.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively coach and mentor colleagues.
Education:
Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or any related field.
Technical Competency:
- Six Sigma &/or Lean problem-solving training, certifications & competencies, have minimum Six Sigma GB and Lean GB certification.
- GMP Knowledge: Understanding of GMP fundamentals.
- Operations Knowledge: Understanding of Manufacturing Operations processes.
