The Operational and Permanent Control (OPC) Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the coordination of the Control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, Information & Communication Technology risks, among others.The Team Leader is also responsible for (i) the deployment of internal policies and procedures issued by specialized independent control functions part of Risk teams (2nd Line of Defense), and (ii) compliance with external regulatory and supervisory requirements.Your Main Activities Are
Team Management at local level.Escalate proactively HR issues or blocking points to Central team for decision-making.In collaboration with Management Team in Paris, define yearly objectives and perform regular reviews to facilitate the compensation review process.Ensure the team is complying with the OPC roles and responsibilities according to Group Procedures.Contribute to (i) OPC reporting in a synthetic and comprehensive way, and (ii) the diffusion of risks culture within the bank.Participate and coordinate recruitment processes.Worldwide recommendations monitoring and reporting and formalize ad-hoc presentations.Ensure proper coordination of Transaction Approval Committee and New Activity Committee in France, proper monitoring of the pipeline, statistics, conditions, Post Implementation Review, certifications, and KPIs.Assist Head of Transversal Risks Monitoring on points with the Transaction Banking, Capital Markets and Corporate Coverage Business Lines.Plan the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual work of the team and define goals.Suggest KPIs creation and completion related to own activity and staff.Ensure the creation of the necessary reports (e.g. monthly report) for BNP Paribas Management.Support Business development by identifying or sponsoring with team members possible improvements on activity and procedures, reporting it to management.Profile and Skills to Success
7/10 years of experience in the Corporate Banking universe (Front and/or Middle), and/or Audit, Project Management, Consulting firm, CIB Control function.Solid knowledge of Operational Risk and/or Permanent control.Leadership experience.Great communication, organizational and analytical skills.Agile and decision-making capability.Expertise in PowerPoint slides production and review.Fluency in English and proficient in MS Office.About the Team
