Opening of a recruitment contest for the position of an Assistant Professor in the subject area of Finance. ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management (the 'School') announces an international documented recruitment contest for the position of an Assistant Professor in Finance. The contest is open for 30 working days from the publication of this notice in the Diário da República Official Gazette.
The successful candidate will sign a permanent public service employment contract with a probationary period of five years. This contest is designed to recruit graduates with a PhD who have high research potential and wish to start a university teaching career.

The Campus of ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Rua do Quelhas No. 6, 1200-781 Lisboa, Portugal.
Admission requirements for the contest
III.1 — Candidates must have a PhD;
III.2 — Candidates must be able to teach in English. If not proficient in Portuguese, they must commit to studying the language.
III.3 — Candidates will be excluded if they fail to submit the necessary documents by the deadline.
Requirements for admission based on merit alone
Hold a PhD in Management or a similar subject area;
Possess a scientific and teaching curriculum compatible with the position;
For PhDs obtained more than five years ago, at least two papers published or accepted for publication in indexed journals.
Assessment criteria and ranking by relative merit
Pedagogical aptitude (20%);
Scientific performance (50%);
Public outreach and university management (5%);
Scientific-Pedagogical Project (25%).

Applications must be submitted in digital format on the ISEG website by the 30th working day from the publication of this notice.

Language
All supporting documents can be presented in Portuguese or English, except the curriculum vitae and the Scientific-Pedagogical Project, which must be in English.
