.We are looking for a Oncology Business Unit Director in Lisbon, Portugal to develop and implement promotional strategy and tactics consistent with Global Company Strategic to ensure the performance of our therapeutic solutions within the Portuguese Subsidiary perimeter.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring the successful execution of marketing and sales strategies, and building a high-performing team that achieves operational excellence in line with the company's goals and values.
This role will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams, to ensure the highest standards of patient-centric care and innovative solutions in oncology.Main activities Strategic Leadership Contribute to the construction of the subsidiary's strategic plan by the General Manager Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the oncology unit, aligning with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in oncology to identify new business opportunities.
Budget and Resource Management Through its teams, ensure the proper implementation of the promotional plan defined in order to deliver the performance expected during the development of the plan, within the allocated budgets.
Track and report on financial and operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to GM in order to contribute to the elaboration of the P&L and the contribution of the subsidiary Operational Management Drive the achievement of sales and profitability targets for the oncology portfolio.
Oversee the development and execution of product launches, lifecycle management, and marketing campaigns.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in oncology.
Team Leadership Inspire teams, ensure their proper functioning and ensure their development with high performance & learning mindset Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across sales and marketing functions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the oncology unit.
Stakeholder Engagement Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and industry partners.
Represent the oncology business unit in external forums, conferences, and industry events.
Work in total synergy with all the subsidiary's business lines (Finance, HR, compliance, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, etc.)
Profile Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D., or MD) is preferred.
Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with at least 2 years in oncology.
Proven track record of leading a business unit or managing P&L responsibilities in a similar role.
Experience in launching and managing oncology products is a strong advantage.

Deep understanding of the oncology landscape, including clinical, regulatory, and market trends.

Additional Information Location: Lisbon, Portugal Reporting to: General Manager Direct Reports: Marketing Product Manager & Sales Team.
Travel Requirements: Regular travel to meet with stakeholders & attend events.
