About the position: As a System Engineer, you are a crucial link within our technical team. You are responsible for designing, implementing and managing our IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation, security and scalability. You work closely with both the support and development team.
In addition, you play an important role in continuously improving our processes and systems to ensure efficiency and reliability. You take initiative in identifying and solving technical bottlenecks before they escalate into larger problems. Furthermore, you actively contribute to strategic decisions regarding our IT architecture and infrastructure.
What you bring to the table: Knowledge and experience with AWS and Docker.Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines and workflows (e.g. with Github actions, Gitlab).Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Salt.Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management.You have knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for cloud environments.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.You have a work permit for working in Portugal.What we expect from you:Git Automation: Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and workflows to realize automatic deployments.Infrastructure Management: Managing and improving our hybrid cloud infrastructure, mainly within AWS with Terraform and Ansible.Monitoring and Optimization: Actively monitoring system resources and performance, and ensuring continuous optimization of the environment.Migration projects: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise servers to a cloud infrastructure (AWS) without impacting customers.Incident Management: Respond quickly and efficiently to incidents and manage incident management processes.Cybersecurity: Implement and adhere to cybersecurity best practices within our cloud environment.What you can expect from us:
