What we do at AMGEN matters in people's lives.O-US SENIOR MANAGER MARKETINGWhat will you doThe O-US Senior Manager of Agency Engagement is a critical role to maintaining and evolving our Agency Program within our Content Strategy eco-system. This global role focuses on accelerating our brand/creative agency partnerships outside of the United States, through centralized management to deliver consistency, sustainability and best impact for our brands and business units. The Senior Manager will supervise program governance for our primary creative partners, mid-tier and boutique agencies. Strategically, this role will identify and cultivate key cross functional partner relationships and program evolution to deliver the benefits of a guided buying model.The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the Agency Engagement program pull-through and actions for our creative agencies, print services and fulfillment. The Senior Manager will work within the organization to identify additional categories for program expansion supporting consistency, governance and resource utilization.The Senior Manager will also prioritize agency optimization and the overall program optics including performance reporting, productivity and adherence. This role will be responsible for program education enhancements, for both internal marketers and external agency managed partners to effectively extend the principles of agency management.Success will be achieved through close cross partner collaboration, including all Content Strategy Teams, GSS, Regulatory, Marketing Brand Teams and our Agency Partners. For the external partner building success will be measured in part by striking the right balance of being firm and direct while building a positive environment for the agency to do business in. Role is empowered to continuously evolve our ways of working, anticipate brand requirements and deliver solutions for outsized impact.Responsibilities:In ELMAC/JAPAC: help rationalize, optimize and consolidate number of suppliers for work needed to drive down cost and duplication.Drive best-in-class Agency Engagement Program and principles with business partners to support brand strategies and requirements.Educate our reference affiliates to design with global usage in mind.Manage collaboration between the marketing teams, the creative agencies, and our production partner/GSC for effective global and local applications.Effectively lead change management as defined by leadership, including communication pull through, training, engagement plans, and measurement aligned to reinforce adoption and adherence.Partner with business collaborators to ensure creative agency alignment to business strategy.Global archive collection process, training and awareness for efficient asset collection and support of the Global Brand Content Library.Needs based SOW development with budget, benchmark information sharing.OperationsDelivery on productivity targets, operational efficiency and program expansion.Reinforce value proposition of our current centralized agency management tools for:Performance measurement and feedback (Decideware).Global Agency SOW management and benchmarking.Needs based SOW development with budget and benchmarking information sharing.Talent DevelopmentImplement personal development plans and attend incorporate training curriculum that supports individual and professional growth.Works to attract, motivate, retain, and develop talent and build a culture of high-performance teams.Develops a climate that accepts Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DI&B).What we expect of youProactivity and growth mindset to continuously improve services, capabilities and program both US and OUS.Partnership and collaboration: cultivate a collaborative environment where vendors feel valued and empowered to contribute their expertise for best impact.Clear and concise communication: ability to articulate project goals, expectations, and feedback in a matrixed vendor environment with a concise, straightforward and easy-to-understand manner.Handling time zone differences: effective communication and coordination across international teams might require flexible working hours.Basic QualificationsDoctorate degree and 1 year of Marketing experience.ORMaster's degree and 3 years of Marketing experience.ORBachelor's degree and 4 years of Marketing experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of experience in agency services, marketing or content production.Strong project management, organizational skills and analytical skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver in a complex and geographically distributed environments.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to diversity and inclusion.What can you expect of usVast opportunities to learn, develop, and move up and across our global organization.Diverse and inclusive community of belonging, where colleagues are empowered to bring ideas to the table, take risks, and act.Generous Amgen Total Rewards Plan comprising healthcare, finance, wealth and career benefits.APPLY NOWObjects in your future are closer than they appear.
