The EMC MV/LV South of E-Redes Networks Platform guarantees the execution of construction works maintenance and service replacement in MV equipment and installations (including TC MV), LV, and IP, in compliance with security standards and the Quality Regulation of Service by the Company and customers. This role ensures continuity of electricity supply, better asset performance, and achievement of defined objectives while optimizing resources.
Main responsibilities:
Monitor the electrical grid in a disturbed state (in case of failure) until normal operating conditions are restored, under normal and on-call conditions;
Perform maintenance activities on electrical grid assets, including small conservation and repair tasks;
Inspect and operate the electrical grid;
Analyze, manage, and make decisions regarding incidents and occurrences on the electrical grid;
Estimate, schedule, and oversee electrical grid maintenance work;
Isolate and reintegrate electrical installations;
Commission and decommission electrical installations.
Looking for people with the following requirements:
Training at the 12th Year, Technological and Professional Courses in Electrical Installations Technician; Electrical Networks Technician and Electrical Installations, Electricity, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related areas;
Professional experience up to 3 years as a technical staff member in operational functions;
Experience in maintenance activities and training in working at heights;
Experience and technical knowledge in the operation/analysis of MV (Medium Voltage), LV (Low Voltage), and IP networks, and transformer stations (a plus);
Proficiency in basic computer navigation (Windows) and Office tools (mandatory);
Availability to join the On-call Availability Schedule for LV and MV network assistance and first HV intervention outside normal working hours (required);
Ability to climb medium and high voltage poles and work in adverse weather conditions, particularly involving fault detection (mandatory);
Driver's license and availability for frequent travel (mandatory);
Residence in Portugal (mandatory), preferably near the workplace;
Commitment to Safety, Environment, and Quality;
Customer focus, Agility and Speed, Problem Solving, Self-control/Self-confidence, and Process Orientation are decisive skills for the performance of the role.
