Network Technical Architect (Sr) (Remote/Portugal)

Network Technical Architect (SR) (Remote/Portugal) Requirements Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain technical architecture artifacts, addressing network pain areas (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Firewall, Load Balancer, AWS network services).

Ensure the design meets non-functional requirements (Performance, Resilience, Scalability, Capacity Management, Disaster Recovery, Security, Maintainability, Supportability).

Design and document technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Assist in AWS cloud migrations and implementations, ensuring compliance with security standards.

Coordinate network capacity planning and forecasting.

Collaborate with enterprise architecture to define technical standards and best practices.

Support solution architects in creating end-to-end architecture.

Provide technical expertise and ensure consistency with agreed standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business value opportunities.

Requirements:
Experience with Routing and Switching (Cisco R/S Nexus, BGP, OSPF).

Knowledge of network technologies (F5 LB & VPN, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, AWS Cloud Networking, SD-WAN, Kubernetes Networking, Zscaler).

Skills in Python, Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub.

Experience with Confluence and Jira tools.

Relevant certifications are advantageous.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proactive mindset and continuous learning of emerging technologies.

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Attention to detail and commitment to high security standards.

Advanced English level (C1).
