It requires advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, as well as a methodical approach to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.Incident Response - Detect and respond to network incidents, such as failures, performance degradation, and security breaches, in a timely manner. Diagnose and resolve network issues.Network Security - Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Configuration Management - Maintain and update network configurations, including IP addresses, subnets, routing tables, and firewall rules. Ensure that network devices are configured correctly.Performance Optimization - Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. Implement improvements to enhance network efficiency.Documentation - Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.Patch Management - Perform firmware and software updates to network devices and systems to address security vulnerabilities and improve network stability.Collaboration - Work with other teams, including system admin, cybersecurity experts, and application developers.Emergency Response - Be available for on-call service to respond to network emergencies.competênciasMore than 2 years of experience in network operations (mandatory requirement).Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are valued.Experience in network troubleshooting and implementing solutions (mandatory requirement).Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript or others) and automation tools.Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (VLANs, TCP/IP, switching, routing).Knowledge of network security.Able to analyze network traffic patterns and performance data to identify issues and make data-driven recommendations.Collaborate with team members.Good communication skills (B2 intermediate level is a mandatory requirement).principais benefíciosThe network operations consultant checks networks' health, responds to incidents, and executes routine maintenance tasks.
