Responsibilities Develop data pipelines for efficient ETL processes and source relevant datasetsAnalyse and interpret data to find actionable insights and trendsEnhance data by integrating third-party information and improving collection proceduresDesign and refine machine learning models, including the use of LLMsDevelop and implement natural language processing (NLP) models for text analysis, sentiment analysis, and other language-based insightsCreate recommendation systems for tasks like fraud detection and time series analysisImplement A/B testing procedures and automated scoring systemsConduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings to stakeholdersEnsure the effectiveness of models, including ML and NLP models, through testing and refinementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutionsRequirements 5+ years of experience as a Data ScientistProficiency in R, Python, SQL, Java, and familiarity with Scala or C++Experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, Excel, pandasStrong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ML methodsSolid background in statistics and data visualization toolsProficiency in development tools like Jupyter Notebook, PyCharm, and GitFamiliarity with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and NoSQL databasesLocation: Lisboa
