Job Title: Backend & Microservices Developer (Java) Location: Remote - Portugal

Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure Java applications.
Build robust microservices using the SpringBoot framework.
Design, write, and maintain efficient, testable, and well-structured code based on modern design patterns.
Collaborate across teams to drive the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
Optimize and maintain CI/CD Git pipelines for smooth integration and deployment.
Apply best practices to ensure quality and reliability in code and software delivery.
Required Qualifications: More than 5 years' experience with Java (from version 11), Microservices, TDD, AWS and Docker.
Proven experience in Java application development with a focus on scalability and security.
Experience working with the SpringBoot framework.
Strong skills in creating well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of serverless technology and infrastructure as code principles.
