Metrologist (m/f/d)
Your RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure complex parts and assemblies (e.g., panels, guide frames) using suitable measuring equipment based on drawings or 3D models.Analyze 3D scans and create detailed measurement programs.Participate in drawing reviews to determine optimal dimensioning and measurement methods.Document measurement results, test specimens, and status changes in systems such as SAP.Analyze deviations and create statistical evaluations when needed.Propose design optimizations for complex geometries and challenges.Coordinate with specialist departments regarding drawings, boundary and component history.Report deviations and suggest optimization ideas to teams like development and toolmaking.Conduct capability studies.In case of unsuitable measurements coordinate directly with the specialist centers and suppliers.Continuously improve product, process, and service quality.Create and deliver training materials and sessions across company locations.Your Profile
Bachelor's Degree or Technician certification (e.g., Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.Office software, with advanced skills in Excel (macro programming).Knowledge of quality assurance processes in injection moulding.Knowledge of automotive industry quality requirements.Experience in operating measuring machines and thermoplastic parts.Fluent written and spoken English skills.Good communication skills.Focus on solution and results.Initiative and proactivity.Our Offer
