As a Member of Technical Staff on the Corporate Engineering team, you are responsible for ensuring that the village is supported in our usage of technology platforms. You are a strong individual contributor and you have the ability to significantly contribute to and execute moderate major Corporate Engineering projects, enabled with appropriate scripting and automation. You are capable of independently owning and solving day to day IT help desk troubleshooting, onboarding and offboarding logistics. You can understand the "why" in order to connect dependencies to the "bigger picture" and Anchorage mission and product roadmap.

Overview of responsibilities, ownership, and expertise As a Member of Technical Staff, Corporate Engineering, you will:Serve as a primary point of contact for Corporate Engineering and IT questions and requests.Manage minor to moderate IT projects, from conception through execution, and ongoing maintenance.Contribute to overarching IT policies, standards, and best practicesCollaborate with Security & People Teams to deliver relevant training.Collaborate with Finance and Engineering to optimize software and equipment costs.Able to visit the Porto office on a weekly basic to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in-person.You may be a fit for this role if you: Have familiarity and some experience of employing Corporate Engineering and program management practices.You are passionate about harnessing the power of automation to transform manual processes, and you constantly seek opportunities to refine and enhance existing systems and processes.Have a passion for being a force multiplier for a fast moving startup company.Have interest in learning a language such as Golang, Python, or Shell.Have log analysis skills.Have played a part in cross-functional projects and have experience collaborating with your team, and adjacent teams to solve problems, assist and give training on IT best practices to other team members.Have excellent soft skills, including, the ability to adapt communication for both internal and external stakeholders in an effective manner, bridging gaps with empathy and proactive communication.Although not a requirement, bonus points if: You have any relevant information security certificationsYou are familiar with audited processes and how to collect evidenceYou have some familiarity with any of the following topics: SIEM, Cloud logging, and monitoringSAML Single Sign On, SCIMInfrastructure-as-code; terraformNetwork traffic analysis and threat huntingGoogle Cloud Platform & Google WorkspaceThird Party Security Due DiligenceData center operationsCompensation at Anchorage Digital:Compensation at Anchorage Digital is market-driven and data-informed. All full-time employees receive a market-leading salary, meaningful equity, and a generous perks and benefits package.Compensation Range: €22,826 - €32,550/yr- this salary range may be inclusive of multiple regional locations and job grades. This compensation range will be narrowed during the interview process based on skills, abilities, and experience required. ****We partner with third party firms annually to verify equity, cash, benefits, and perks benchmarks.
