MAIN DUTIES Project analysis and compatibility (preparation).
Carry out or collaborate on soil and building material tests in the laboratory.
Provide technical assistance related to the construction of buildings and other structures, with surveys or preparing reports on them.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations and legislation, maintaining required standards in materials and workmanship.
Apply technologies and practices related to the principles of civil engineering and buildings to identify and solve problems.
Collaborate in estimating the quantity and costs of materials and labor for the project based on the specifications given.
Organize the maintenance and repair of buildings and other structures.
Inspect buildings and other structures during and after construction to ensure compliance with legislation, approved plans, standards, and specifications relating to construction, site preparation, and safety.
Inspect industrial facilities, hotels, cinemas, and other buildings and structures to detect fire hazards and advise on solutions to problems.
Advise on the installation of fire detectors, automatic sprinkler systems, and the use of materials that reduce fire risk and damage.
Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or Professional Training in Measurement and Budgeting.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AUTOCAD.
Knowledge of MS Project and CCS (Preferred).
Responsibility, organization, and proactivity.
Good ability to manage stress and deadlines.
Intermediate level of English.
