The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will act as a link between the Medical Affairs area and the HCP, taking a predominant scientific approach and guaranteeing that different stakeholders have access to medical and scientific information, in compliance with current and internal legislation, regulations.
The Impact You'll Make:
Provide technical and scientific expertise (both internally and externally) under the product scope;
Create, develop and maintain a strong, close and bi-directional scientific relationship with leading and current key opinion leaders (KOLs), opinion leaders (OL), scientific groups and other relevant external stakeholders;
Implement and disseminate high quality medical and scientific educational programs, including acting as a speaker on scientific presentations at meetings, organized by the company or external scientific groups;
Support the Marketing and Medical Information teams in scientific development, providing scientific training to team when necessary;
Identify and follow-up on clinical investigation projects;
Respond to internal and external requests/questions for medical and scientific information on marketed and / or investigational drugs;
Collect reported adverse events and communicate them to Pharmacovigilance;
Support the preparation of publications and reviewing of literature;
Prepare presentations of relevant aspects of the products for medical groups;
Contribute, upon request, in the definition of the strategic plan, as well in the promotional materials workflow approval;
Participate in international medical affairs activities, as well as international congresses and symposia;
Collaborate on other tasks / department activities as needed;
Support the development and implementation of R&D activities at country level.
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave. What You'll Bring:
Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, PhD in Health Sciences, or Medical Doctor (MD);
Previous experience as MSL in Pharmaceutical industry or similar;
Experience in Neurology therapeutic area (preferred);
Knowledge of the regulations and procedures in the Pharmaceutical industry;
Fluency in English (spoken and written);
Good interpersonal skills, communication and teamwork;
Autonomy, proactivity and good analytical skills;
Availability to travel.
